The 2009 USA Powerlifting American Open Championships will be held on December 4-6, 2009 in Denver, CO. The Rocky Mountain Lifting Club will be hosting the event. The American Open was created as a way for all lifters to have a shot in competing in a National Event, even if they cannot quite meet the qualifying totals. The winner in each male weight class will get an automatic chance to compete in the following years Men's Nationals. |
